Service Description
Pre-requites: You must be confident supporting yourself aerially. You must have your outside/inside leg hang, floor inversion, pole climb, pull up sit, shoulder stand. If you are unsure if you meet the requirements, please ask the instructor. Your instructor will use dance theory, natural organic movement and the Liquid Motion® techniques to build poledance flow and floor work. Students will be led through a 15-20 min full body warm up, conditioning and mobility exercises. The bulk of the class focus on techniques such as static rotations, floor inversions(handstand variations and shoulder stands. Slinky static tricks and controlled transitions. Aerial legs waves, sustained shapes. Legwork and edge work. The class will culminate with a sequence. The goal is to take grounded liquid flow principles and integrate them aerially, creating strength that looks effortless and expressive. Recommended footwear: 8” Platform stilettos, however 7” or socks will also work. Strapless heels are discouraged because they do not provide adequate support during dynamic movement. Other footwear may be approved by the instructor. Covered knees are required. Knee pads are highly recommended. Leg warmers are okay, but knee pads are ideal. Long pants or pole shorts are both suitable for this class.
